Vibrant yellows, reds denoting pure passion and lust, blue and green shades that symbolize the frivolity of the cold nights, in a city where converge the deadly sins: lust, sloth, gluttony, greed, lust, pride, anger and envy.

SYNOPSIS:

SIN CITY, "SIN CITY" has three different stories, which occur in the same dark and sensual city, where reign power, betrayal, corruption and prostitution.

The first story is that of MARV (Mickey Rourke), a monstrous villain who falls for a prostitute named Goldie (Jaime King), who spends a night of passion lustful.

Upon awakening, he discovers that she is dead and that police already underway. Before going on the trail of the murderer, swears on the corpse of his beloved, avenge his death.

After an intensive search within KEVIN (ELIJAH WOOD), the murderer, on a farm outside but can not beat it. After his failure is headed to Barrio Viejo, where it meets WENDY (JAIME KING) GOLDIE twin sister. Along with her back to the farm and cuts his head to KEVIN.

Finally, Marv search and kill the accomplice of the murderer, who is not the pastor ROARK (Rutger Hauer).'s Caught by police and sentenced to death in the electric chair

The second story is that of JACKIE BOY (Benicio Del Toro) and his friends, who always annoy Shellie (BRITTANY MURPHY) and his girls, until her boyfriend DWIGHT (CLIVE OWEN) intervenes ending the situation.

JACKIE BOY and his band are headed to the old neighborhood where a gun to threaten a young prostitute who refuses to serve them. From the rooftops, NINJA MIHO (DEVON AOKI), observed the situation and throws a star you cut out to JACKIE BOY.

Meanwhile Dwight kills Jackie Boy, who is actually Jack Rafferty, a police officer. To prevent his death goes beyond the Old Quarter streets, takes the bodies in a car to hide in tar pits, where no one would look.

What ever imagine Dwight, is that one of the prostitutes would betray the mob telling what happened. At that time he is attacked by the mob, while her lover and leader of the prostitutes, Gail (Rosario Dawson), is captured.

Miho and Dwight rescue Dallas and then intercept the car the gangsters. Manute (Michael Clarke Duncan) makes a deal with Dwight, who is the head of Jackie boy by Gail. Once she is safe, prostitutes charge vengeance, getting on the roof and killing all the gangsters.

The third and final story is that of John Hartigan (Bruce Willis), a cop one day before his retirement, decides to solve the case of Nancy Callahan (Jessica Alba), a girl of 11 who is kidnapped by the son of Senator Roark (Powers Boothe).

Hartigan manages to save the girl and shoots rapist frustrated several times: in the hand, at the ear and testis. Although it does not give the final shot because his partner (Michael Madsen), betrays him by shooting him back.

Both survived and are hospitalized. Senator manipulates judges to condemn Hartigan and his son's attempted rape.

Every week Hartigan receives letters from Nancy Callahan, who writes under a pseudonym, until one day longer receive them. Some time later, received an envelope with a finger, which he considers a sign that Nancy is in danger.

To get out of prison "confessed" his crime and is released. Tracks to Nancy to find as erotic dancer at a bar, where he meets the senator's son, Junior (Nick Stahl). Hartigan realizes it was all a trap to find out who wrote using pseudonyms.

He tries to leave, but is recognized by Nancy who immediately stops dancing and jumps into his arms. Together escape route to a motel, never imagining that behind them was Junior, aka Yellow Bastard.

Yellow Bastard kidnaps Nancy, leading to a farm where he tries to rape her. Hartigan follows them, Nancy manages to rescue and kills the son of the senator. To avoid her to get involved in the death, he said that on that farm there was sufficient evidence to imprison Senator Roark.

Knowing that everything you said was a lie, he decides to take his gun and suicide for the sole purpose of protecting the woman he loves most.
